Getting Here

Leave the Sea Terminal turning left as you exit.  Turn left at the roundabout following signs for Airport or A5 (Castletown). Continue over the marina bridge and turn right at the mini roundabout, continue straight over next 2 small roundabouts keeping the marina on your right.   Continue straight for approximately 1.7 miles until you reach a roundabout and turn left signed A5 Castletown and Airport.  Continue on this road for approximately 2 miles up Richmond Hill passing the Forge Restaurant on the left, and the Comis Hotel sign on the right. You will then see the Ballavartyn Equestrian Centre on your left. Continue past for approximately 20 metres and indicating right.  Turn right onto the filter lane and turn right down Moaney Road.  Continue straight down Moaney Road passing through a small group of white houses, the road will then narrow to a country lane, continue for 100 metres and follow the road to a right hand bend, then continue straight and pass Ballagick Farm on your left.  Proceed straight to the junction taking the road straight ahead, Ballacorris Road. Broogh Fort Cottages are signposted and are 100 metres down the lane on the right hand side.  The electric gates will open on approach.

Leave the Airport and take the A5 to Douglas for approx 4 miles. You will pass The Manx Cat Sanctuary on your right, and then the Newtown Chapel on the right.  You will now turn left down Moaney Road.  Continue straight down Moaney Road passing through a small group of white houses, the road will then narrow to a country lane, continue for 100 metres and follow the road to a right hand bend, then continue straight and pass Ballagick Farm on your left.  Proceed straight to the junction taking the road straight ahead, Ballacorris Road. Broogh Fort Cottages are signposted and are 100 metres down the lane on the right hand side. The electric gates will open on approach.
