About Broogh Fort Cottages

About Broogh Fort Cottages

Broogh Fort Cottages take their name from the nearby protected medieval site of Broogh Fort

The fort is thought to date back to the Bronze or Iron Ages and could have been a small castle or fortress.

The area was formerly the home to the Broogh Fort Clay Pigeon Club which closed in 2019.   The site was bought in early 2022 the development of transforming the property to 4 self -catering cottages began immediately. The business was launched in August 2023.

Entering the gates of the Broogh Fort Cottages estate you will be greeted by the clean white exterior of the buildings surrounded by countryside views stretching to the South Barrule and down to the South Coast of Castletown and Derbyhaven.

The cottages are proving very popular with visitors to the island and locals enjoying staycations.

It’s very important to me the cottages are comfortable and welcoming to all my guests including the family pooches.

All four cottages are spacious, contemporary in design all with private exterior deck areas complete with private hot tubs.
